At Sossusvlei, immense dunes rise from the Namib Desert, their colour shifting with the light.
Walk through landscapes reduced almost entirely to sand, sky and shadow. Stand among the stark trees of Deadvlei. Wake early enough to watch the desert change colour with the rising sun.
Then continue toward the Atlantic.
Here, one of the world’s great deserts reaches the ocean.

Etosha is defined by space.
At its centre lies an enormous salt pan, stretching toward the horizon and creating a stark backdrop unlike almost anywhere else in Africa.
Around its edges, waterholes become gathering places.

The Okavango Delta spreads across the Kalahari in a maze of channels, floodplains and islands, creating one of the world’s great inland wetland ecosystems.
Here, safari doesn’t only happen from a vehicle.
